The Ljabru School, formerly known as the Health Education Rudolf Steiner School, was established in 1984 by parents of children with special needs. The school currently has 43 students who are divided into both primary and secondary levels. The teaching at the school is based on the curriculum for the Steiner schools, and it is designed to meet the pupils' age-related physical and mental needs.
The school has a special focus on holistic development and adapted teaching, and it also offers therapy and an after-school program (SFO).
