Matindustriens Opplæringkontor is a vocational school whose aim is to train young people to become skilled workers in the food industry. Since its establishment in 1995, the office has functioned as a cooperation and service body for member companies, and coordinates training activities in various subject areas. Among these are industrial food production, production technology and logistics.
In addition to youth training, the office also offers training for adult employees who want to obtain a vocational certificate. To give a better understanding of the training process, films from member companies are presented, which illustrate various aspects of the training. The Food Industry's Training Office has a clear focus on developing competence and skills that are relevant to the industry.
