Trasop School is a primary school that offers a varied range of subjects, including science, English, mathematics, Norwegian, social studies, ICT, arts and crafts, physical education as well as food and health. The school also offers Sami teaching, which contributes to a diverse learning environment. In addition to the academic focus, Trasop School has an activity school (AKS) which gives students the opportunity to participate in varied activities after school.
The school emphasizes health and welfare, and offers a school health service to support the pupils' well-being. An action plan against bullying has been implemented, which is part of the school's work for a safe and inclusive environment. The collaboration between home and school is also an important part of the school's philosophy. In the schoolyard there is a sculpture that symbolizes the school's history, and the school also has a school library that provides learning support for the students.
