Gressholmen Båtforening is located in Oslo and offers members access to a boat club close to a nature reserve. The area is known for its rich flora and fauna, and over 340 different vascular plants have been recorded. The association is also a popular place for bird watching, with sightings of more than 160 bird species.
The boat association has a quiet atmosphere, free of exhaust and car noise, which makes it an ideal place for recreation. It is a short walk from the moorings to the association's facilities. During the summer months, members can enjoy a simple menu and drinks at Gressholmen kro. It is important to note that dogs must be kept on a lead in the area. Gressholmen Båtforening is owned by Oslo municipality and the State, and management takes place through the Norwegian Open Air Agency.
