GUC Oslo - Sentrum is a capoeira school that offers training in this unique fighting form that combines elements of fighting, dance, play, acrobatics and music. The school is open to everyone, regardless of age and physical condition, and emphasizes an inclusive atmosphere. GUC Oslo is known as Norway's oldest capoeira group and is led by Mestre Maclau, who has considerable experience in this traditional Brazilian art form.
The training at GUC Oslo focuses on versatility and gives participants the opportunity to explore different styles within capoeira. Music is a central part of the experience, and students are encouraged to develop their musical abilities in parallel with the physical training. In addition to the activities in the center of Oslo, GUC also has local groups in cities such as Blindern, Lillestrøm and Trondheim, which gives more opportunities for participation in capoeira in different parts of the country.
