Kwoon Espen Forsmo is a martial arts school in Oslo that has been active since 1993. The school is led by Espen Forsmo, who has an extensive background in martial arts. He has received training from sifu Petter Dang and has been associated with Master Tang's Shao Lin Hong Dan school from 1996 to 1999. In addition, he has studied Capoeira for half a year in 1999, which has contributed to his varied competence in various martial arts disciplines.
Forsmo has experience from the military's close combat course, where he learned close combat techniques, arrest methods and pacification. He focuses on self-defense and has incorporated concepts from Japanese ryu, including jiu-jitsu and budokan, since 2009. From 2011, he has also integrated elements from Krav Maga into his teaching. Kwoon Espen Forsmo offers two free trial lessons for new participants and accepts individuals or small groups of up to four people.
