Oslo Karate Club, founded in 1969 by Rune Hagen, is Norway's oldest karate and nanbudo club. The club offers training in both karate and nanbudo, and has a varied training offer for everyone from 7 years and upwards. With experienced instructors who focus on pedagogy, the club emphasizes self-defence, martial arts, energy and exercise.
For beginners up to the age of 19, the first term is offered free of charge, and there is a continuous intake of new members throughout the term. The club also has favorable prices and a family discount available. Oslo Karate Club promotes respect for both training and togetherness, and emphasizes learning about both body and mind in addition to martial arts.
