The Norwegian Theater, known as Det Norske Teatret, is a contemporary theater that has three stages and offers a varied program of musicals, classics, humor and innovative theatre. The theater presents both Norwegian and international drama, and has an ensemble consisting of talented actors.
The theater is also involved in youth work through membership of Yngda, and offers various services such as guided tours for the public and the possibility of group booking of tickets. In addition, Det Norske Teatret has its own podcast called "The Language Assignment", as well as a digital program and repertoire magazine available to those interested. Gift cards can also be bought for theater experiences, which gives the opportunity to share cultural experiences with others.
