The Concrete Training Council is a professional unifying body that focuses on basic and further training in concrete technology. The organization works to standardize training and competence documentation within the concrete profession, and aims to raise the level of competence in the industry. Each year they issue around 1,000 certificates of competence, which document the skills and knowledge of skilled workers.
In addition to offering training, the Concrete Training Council is involved in digitizing certificates of competence, which makes it easier for professionals to document their competence. They also collaborate with the Swedish Concrete Association to develop joint competence requirements. The organization has a particular focus on areas such as cast-in-place concrete, shotcrete and concrete rehabilitation, and works continuously to develop guidelines for documentation of competence in these fields.
