Lønnshuset AS is an educational institution established in 2023, with the aim of becoming Norway's leading competence center in payroll. The institution offers specialist training for payroll specialists, which is a part-time course over two semesters. The training includes lectures from renowned experts and focuses on practical experience and professional skills.
The study ends with an 8-hour exam that provides certification, which documents a high level of competence in payroll. Lønnshuset places emphasis on competence mapping for adapted learning, as well as support and guidance throughout the course of the education. The education is designed to raise the status of the payroll subject and compensate for the lack of focus on the area within higher education in Norway.
