Mestizo is a language and culture center located on Tøyen in Oslo, near Tøyen square. The center offers Norwegian courses from level A1 to C1, and has a wide range of participants from different parts of the world. The teaching focuses on healthy Norwegian and language learning, and is adapted to different levels and needs. In addition to Norwegian courses, language courses in Spanish are also offered.
The center has resources for both writing assignments and listening tests, as well as audio courses and grammar books. Mestizo is also known for its cultural activities, such as music, dance and art, which contribute to promoting the multicultural environment in Norway. It is easy to get to Mestizo with the subway to Tøyen. The center offers opportunities to hire for own events, and members of the Mestizo association can hire the venue free of charge by agreement.
