Oslo adult education Helsfyr is a public educational institution that offers Norwegian education for adult immigrants. The school's aim is to help the participants become active contributors to family, community and working life. Since opening in 2005, the institution has built up extensive experience in adult education.
The offer includes e-learning with a supervisor, hybrid courses, as well as preparatory and upper secondary education. There are also specialized vocational training programs for minority language adults. In addition, the school focuses on the environment and sustainability, and arranges, among other things, environment day. Career guidance and aids for learning are also part of the offer, and there is a participant council that involves students in decision-making processes.
