Myra bridge is a road bridge that was completed in 1976 and has a length of 22 metres. It is constructed with tension-reinforced beams, which gives the bridge solidity and durability. The bridge is owned by Bymiljøetaten Park, which manages several public areas in Oslo.
Around Myra bridge there is a grassy hill that functions as an amphitheater. This area has historically been linked to brick burning, and in the past there were several brick factories here, including Myrens Verksted. In the summer, the open-air stage in front of the amphitheater is used for concerts, which helps make the area a cultural hub.
