The Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) is a global non-profit organization established in 2017 during the World Economic Forum in Davos. The organization aims to accelerate the development of vaccines against emerging infectious diseases and ensure equitable access to these vaccines during outbreaks. CEPI works as a partnership between public, private, philanthropic and civil society organisations.
CEPI focuses on preparedness for future pandemics by collaborating with leading health and science experts. The organization is developing a global AI platform for pandemic preparedness and runs initiatives for vaccine research against diseases such as Mpox and Lassa Fever. In addition, CEPI conducts ground-breaking research to map the impact of Rift Valley fever, and uses innovative approaches to detect future pandemics through expertise and technology.
