The Philippine Aid Society in Norway, known as FHS, was founded on 12 November 2013 as a response to typhoon Yolanda. In 2020, the organization was renamed after typhoon Ulysses, and has since then expanded its services and target groups. FHS focuses on supporting Filipino communities in Norway, and works to strengthen the community among Filipinos in the country.
The organization offers help and resources to Filipino immigrants, and has a particular focus on integration and voluntary work. Although the main focus is on Filipinos living in Norway, FHS also includes support for other minority groups as well as Filipinos living in the Philippines. In addition, FHS organizes cultural and social activities to promote community and culture among its members.
