The Football Foundation is a non-profit organization that functions as an umbrella organization for the street teams associated with top Norwegian football clubs. The street teams are spread all over the country and represent Idretts-Norway's biggest community project. The organization aims to promote inclusion and social community through its street team model, which offers an arena for people who want to participate in football activities regardless of background.
In addition to organizing national tournaments for street teams, the Football Foundation runs Gatelags-TV and Gatelagspodden, which convey stories and experiences from the participants. The organization emphasizes substance abuse prevention and improving the quality of life, and offers tools and resources to clubs to support street team work.
