Fretex accepts clothes that are whole, clean and dry, as well as shoes, belts, bags and other accessories. Gifts that are donated are sold or distributed through the Salvation Army's social work. Annually, sales contribute up to NOK 30 million to social work. Fretex also has 40 second-hand shops and an online store, making it an environmentally friendly option for consumers who want to shop for clothes and goods. From 2025, they plan to accept textile waste from the municipalities.
