Harry Benjamin Ressurssenter (HBRS) is a non-profit organization that was founded on 9 January 2000. The organization aims to support people who experience gender dysphoria, gender incongruence and gender identity challenges, as well as their relatives. HBRS works politically and socially to promote acceptance and understanding, so that these people can live openly without fear of discrimination or social exclusion.
In addition to its focus on gender identity, HBRS offers resources and support for children and young people, with an emphasis on individual development and coping. The organization creates a safe and inclusive environment, where cooperation with parents and other agencies is an important part of the work. Through various activities and programmes, HBRS actively engages in the local community, and has a dedicated team with experience in the field.
