The Health Committee is a foundation that has focused on improving sexual health since 1983. The organization targets lesbians, gays and anyone who has sex with people of the same sex. Through collaboration with Oslo Pride and RFSU, the Health Committee works to increase awareness of the importance of safe sex, including the use of condoms and lozenges.
The organization offers testing for HIV, syphilis, gonorrhea and chlamydia, as well as information on drug addiction and sexual health. The health committee also has a chat service that gives you the opportunity to ask questions and get support. In addition, there are opportunities to become a volunteer and contribute to the LGBTIQ community, which gives individuals the chance to get involved and share knowledge and resources with others, regardless of orientation.
