Landbrukets Arbeidsgiverforening has its head office in Oslo and functions as a non-governmental organization with a focus on sustainable management of forests and outback. The association offers usufruct rights for open field grazing, as well as opportunities for hunting and fishing in connection with the open field areas. An important part of their work is the gathering of grazing animals, which contributes to responsible management of natural resources.
In addition to management services, the association acts as a site developer with a long-term perspective, where they work to promote sustainable solutions for the future. They have also traditionally organized a forest day, but this event has been canceled in 2025. Furthermore, it is worth noting that the sale of crayfish cards at Harestuvannet and Gjerdingen will be closed in 2025. The office is closed for the summer from week 29-31, which may affect the availability for inquiries during this period.
