Nordre Aasen Bo og Habiliteringsenter is a non-profit organization that offers an interdisciplinary environment with a focus on accommodation and treatment for people with disabilities. The center collaborates with Oslo University Hospital to deliver specialist healthcare services, and has developed adapted housing and relief services for both children and adults. The habilitation services are designed to meet individual needs, and the center has experience with various support needs as well as life-shortening conditions.
In addition to housing and habilitation services, Nordre Aasen offers a day center with activities adapted to different needs. The center also has a department for child palliation, which provides support to families with children who have serious health challenges. Café Aasen functions as a social meeting place for visitors, and contributes to an inclusive environment where users can participate in community and activities.
