Polyteknisk Forening, founded in 1852, is Norway's oldest knowledge-based membership network for sustainable technology and social development. The association is independent and interdisciplinary, and currently has around 2,000 members, which includes both private individuals and organisations. It focuses on important societal themes such as digitalisation, energy, climate, health and social security.
Polyteknisk Forening offers a range of activities for its members, including seminars, projects and professional discussions. In addition, they organize popular book launches and provide networking opportunities. The association is also involved in CO2 management and social security, as well as supporting research and development through grants. In addition, they have a podcast, #PolyPod, which has a listening audience of 4,000.
