The Prosperastiftelsen is a voluntary organization based in Oslo, which functions as a network of pro bono consultants. The organization has over 1,800 volunteers who donate their expertise to non-profit organisations, and has carried out 480 projects since its inception. The main focus is to offer free services in areas such as strategic advice, marketing, fundraising, accounting and website development, which is essential for aid organizations to realize their projects and reach more people.
The foundation has contributed services to the value of NOK 200 million, and is particularly involved in projects that prevent alienation among children and young people. Through collaboration with several non-profit organisations, including Save the Children, the Prospera Foundation works to create new opportunities within health volunteering. The projects are carried out over a period of three months, and the activities take place in the evenings, making it possible for the consultants to combine their voluntary work with other commitments.
