The Queen Sonja Print Award is a foundation established in 2011 by H.M. Queen Sonja, with the aim of promoting graphic art. The foundation awards the prize every two years to honor international artists who have made significant contributions in the field of graphics. Three different awards are presented: the Queen Sonja Print Award, the QSPA Inspirational Award and the QSPA Lifetime Achievement Award, all of which recognize artists at different stages of their careers.

The exhibition space in Bjørvika functions as a platform to increase public awareness of graphic art. Works from award winners and other artists are displayed here, which helps to promote understanding and interest in this art form. The first winner of the Queen Sonja Print Award was Tiina Kivinen, who was recognized in 2012. The foundation aims to support and inspire artists, while promoting the importance of graphics in the art world.
