Injury prevention forum is a member-based, non-profit interest organization whose aim is to prevent serious accidents and promote injury prevention work. The organization brings together actors from the voluntary, public and private sectors to strengthen cooperation on social security. Through active work, they focus on reducing accidents in society by means of information and various measures.
The forum uses national figures to develop injury and fall barometers, and organizes various activities such as Coffee Talk about elderly safety and EU Safety 2025. They also participate in the Public Health Conference 2025, where they contribute with presentations. In addition, they work with the development of safety cards against child accidents and offer master's scholarships for tasks related to survival after drowning. The organization has a broad focus on injury prevention and community safety, and works continuously to raise awareness of these topics.
