UngOrg is an umbrella organization for children's and youth organizations in Oslo, and consists of over 50 member organisations. The organisation's aim is to improve the situation for children and young people, as well as to promote their participation in their own lives. Through various activities and offers, UngOrg works to strengthen the voice of young people in society.
The organization offers free loan of meeting rooms to young volunteers, and organizes courses that deal with organizational operations and relevant topics for young people. Members get access to resources such as sound packs and document printing at no cost. UngOrg also plays an important role in facilitating the youth city council meeting, where young people can present their proposals for changes in Oslo, and works to ensure youth participation as a statutory right in Norway.
