Youth For Understanding - Norway is a non-profit organization that focuses on international exchange and development of global citizens. The organization offers exchange programs to more than 40 countries, and has an extensive network of volunteers who help support participants throughout the process. This includes help from application to return home, as well as opportunities to keep in touch with international networks after the exchange year.
In addition to exchange programmes, Youth For Understanding organizes digital information meetings for those interested. The organization also gives families the opportunity to become host families, which provides a unique chance to experience cultural exchange up close. The exchange offer for the school year 2026/27 is now available for those who wish to participate.
