Grenland Brass is a brass band based in Porsgrunn and has a long tradition in brass music. The band practices every Tuesday evening, which gives members the opportunity to develop their skills and collaborate on musical projects. In addition to the regular rehearsals, they offer an aspiring band for adults, which includes free courses for beginners.
The band is known for arranging several concerts throughout the year, including a traditional Christmas concert and a Moonlight concert scheduled for May 14, 2025. Grenland Brass also participates in competitions, such as the NM in Bergen in 2024, and arranges social events such as Oktoberfest games. In collaboration with Kafé K, they work to strengthen the brass band community in Grenland, and they also have initiatives such as an Easter egg campaign and an All Saints' Day concert on October 31.
