TEO - Telemark Elektro Opplæring is a learning institution that specializes in training electrical apprentices in Telemark. The institution represents a significant proportion of electrical apprentices in the region and focuses on several professional areas, including automation, computer electronics, electrician, electrical repairer, energy fitter, panel fitter and telecommunications fitter. TEO aims to meet the growing need for electrical expertise, both locally and globally.
With over 65 active apprenticeship companies in Telemark, TEO works with the follow-up of apprentices and companies within the electrical trades. The institution facilitates mandatory theoretical education for apprentices, both in collaboration with companies and upper secondary schools. In addition, TEO offers online education to meet the different needs of apprentices and companies in the sector. Membership for companies in the electrical sector is also available, which provides additional resources and support to players in the industry.
