It borders Sola Municipality to the southwest, Rennesøy Municipality to the northeast and Kvitsøy Municipality to the northwest. Randaberg has a varied range of services covering health and welfare, including nursing homes and home services.
The municipality has a strong focus on public health, and offers activities such as outdoor activities and city bikes for its residents. Cultural and sports activities are available through Randaberghallen and the cultural school, which contribute to an active local community. Furthermore, the municipality has services for kindergartens, schools and families, including educational-psychological services (PPT) and child welfare, as well as resources related to housing planning, the environment and agriculture. Information about roads, water and waste disposal, including timber routes, is also available to residents.
