Karisletta Kanvas kindergarten is located in Sandefjord and offers a safe and stimulating environment for children. The kindergarten has three age-specific departments, which allows for adapted learning and play for different age groups. The location in scenic and quiet surroundings, near Bugårdsparken and the Briske pine forest, gives children the opportunity to explore nature and participate in outdoor activities.
The kindergarten emphasizes a healthy and varied diet, and serves hot meals two days a week. In addition, a buffet arrangement is offered for children between 2-5 years, known as "Barnas café", as well as fruit and vegetables with all meals. Karisletta is part of Kanvas, Norway's largest non-profit kindergarten foundation, which focuses on improving children's upbringing and parents' everyday lives through quality kindergartens. The foundation prioritizes competent and committed employees, of which at least half must have kindergarten teacher training, and all employees receive regular professional development.
