Mokollen Barnehage AS is a comprehensive kindergarten located in the center of Sandefjord, surrounded by natural beauty. The kindergarten has five groups with unique names: Brumm, Tassen, Ludde, Knerten and Ruffen. Each group has between 7 and 12 places, and the children have permanent responsible adults who follow them in their development. This provides a structured approach to learning and care, where all adults are involved in the children's everyday life.
The kindergarten has a clear focus on social competence and language development, as well as an educational approach that emphasizes science and the joy of nature. Through varied activities, such as trips and cultural experiences, including visits to the Whaling Museum, the children are given the opportunity to explore and learn in a stimulating environment. In addition, a variety of food and sensory experiences are offered, which contributes to a holistic development. The kindergarten has an annual plan and a credo that ensures continuity in learning and development for all children.
