Fjordfesten is a music festival that takes place in the center of Sandefjord, and has been an annual event since 2008. The festival lasts for two days and gathers visitors to the Badeparken to enjoy a varied program of concerts and entertainment. The event has achieved great popularity, with sold-out days and a strong focus on party atmosphere. The festival offers a wide range of music experiences, with performing artists such as DJ Elvira, DJ Jensen, DJ Westergren, Kirsti Hille and Gus Polden.
The festival area is equipped with food stalls serving food from different cultures, and facilities are provided for a total festival experience. In addition to the concerts, DJs help create a lively atmosphere between performances. This year, a new area with silent disco is also being introduced, which gives festival participants the opportunity to dance to music in a unique way. Fjordfesten is a folk festival for all age groups, and offers opportunities for voluntary participation, which contributes to the sense of community during the event. The next festival is scheduled for August 1 and 2, 2025.
