Sandefjord Spa is a historical landmark that was established as a spa in 1837. The buildings date back to 1899 and are known to be one of the largest wooden buildings in the Nordic region. After a rehabilitation, the site has been preserved as a cultural center, which now functions as a user-controlled center for voluntary cultural life.
The cultural center offers a varied program of activities in choral singing, music, dance and visual arts. It also includes a gallery, a music stage and a culture bar, which contribute to a vibrant and creative environment. Sandefjord Spa organizes regular activities, including a popular Christmas market, which attracts both locals and visitors.
