Kirkeparken was established around 1903 and is located west of Sandefjord Church. The park has historical significance and has undergone several changes since it was created. Previously, the park contained a water feature with a fountain, but after the renovation in 1962, the Thaulow Fountain was placed in the park, as a central element in the landscape.
Surrounded by several streets, including Dronningens gate and Stockfleths gate, Kirkeparken is easily accessible to both locals and visitors. The park also houses a monument to the veterans, which is located in the north of the area. Kirkeparken is a popular recreational area, where people can enjoy nature and the quiet environment.
