STELLA POLARIS OPPLEVELSER AS is a cultural center that was established in 1985 by Merete Klingen and Per Spildra Borg. The center focuses on offering events related to various occasions, with a special emphasis on cultural projects. The three main formats for the events include fire show, celebration of life and shaman's dream, all of which take inspiration from ancient celebrations and rituals in human life.
In addition to the performances, STELLA POLARIS offers workshops, which give participants the opportunity to explore and learn more about the cultural themes that the center works with. Through an expressive form of theater, which combines elements of the profane and the sacred, they create unique experiences that invite the audience into a playful and caring world. The center aims to awaken memories of shared heritage and trigger the longing for something greater than everyday life.
