Wang Ung Sandefjord is a sports school that combines schooling with sports training, and is approved by the Norwegian Directorate of Education as a profile school. The school offers a developing and safe learning environment, where both sports and academic subjects are emphasized. Students have the opportunity to participate in a wide range of sports, including football, handball and swimming. In addition to the regular subjects, the school has its own sports competence goals and a profile subject called "development of young athletes", which focuses on training and sports knowledge.
To ensure that students receive comprehensive follow-up, Wang Ung Sandefjord offers four organized training sessions of 90 minutes each week. The school emphasizes that each individual student should be seen and heard, with committed teachers and coaches who have experience in sports. Counseling and support are also offered to both students and parents, as well as an open day for interested visitors. A school brochure is published annually that provides information about the school's offerings and activities.
