Sandefjord Red Cross is a voluntary organisation that offers a wide range of activities and services for the local community. The organisation aims to create meeting places for youth and young adults through the Joint Agency, where the emphasis is on coping, learning and inspiring activities. In addition to this, they arrange their own activities during the school holidays, which gives young people the opportunity to participate in meaningful experiences.
The organisation collaborates with the Fjorden Sanitetsforening and the County Municipality to strengthen their offer and contribute to safety at events. Sandefjord Red Cross also offers adapted first aid courses for companies, which can be useful for employees in various industries. Volunteers have the opportunity to get involved in different activities and events, which gives them a chance to contribute to the community. During activities, free meals are offered, which promotes social cohesion among the participants.
