Espira Vagletjørn is a kindergarten located on top of Bogafjell in Sandnes municipality, surrounded by scenic nature and hiking opportunities. The kindergarten has a large and varied outdoor area with lawns, trees and natural terrain, which gives children the opportunity to explore and play outdoors. Two regular hiking days are offered per week, where children can experience nature and develop their motor skills.
The focus areas in the kindergarten are language, science and movement, which is reflected in the educational work. The staff is committed and has the expertise to support children's development in safe relationships. The kindergarten emphasizes a play environment that inspires creativity, friendship and learning, as well as providing sensory experiences, including with sheep and cows grazing nearby. Espira Vagletjørn also offers full board with an emphasis on a healthy and varied diet for children.
