Øvre Eikenuten is a popular hiking area that offers an easy 2.5 kilometer round trip hike. The trail has an elevation gain of 97 meters and takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes to complete. The hike starts from the parking lot at Gramstad, and the trail is well marked in red, making it easy for hikers to follow.
From the summit, which is 239 meters above sea level, there is a magnificent view of the area. Øvre Eikenuten is also close to other well-known hiking destinations such as Dalsnuten and Lifjellet, and there are lesser-known peaks nearby, such as Øvre and Nedre Eikenuten. The area is accessible all year round, which provides opportunities for outdoor activities regardless of the season.
