Odeon Cinema Sandnes opened in 2004 and is located in the Amfi Vågen shopping center. The cinema complex is considered one of the most modern in the Nordic region, with a total of 893 seats divided into six halls. In 2018, the cinema was renamed ODEON Sandnes, and it is ranked as the sixth largest cinema in Norway. This gives the cinema the opportunity to show a large number of Norwegian premieres and maintain a varied film repertoire.
The cinema screens approximately 200 films each year, and all halls are fully digitalized. They are equipped with 2K projectors for digital viewing, while halls 1 and 4 have 4K resolution. In addition, all halls have the option of 3D screenings. Odeon Cinema Sandnes also offers a modern cinema kiosk with various menus and promotional offers.
