Gerd Traffic School was established in 1984 by Gerd Johnsen and has since then been one of the region's most experienced traffic schools. The school focuses on safe and personal traffic training, and emphasizes building close relationships with students. Each year, Gerd Traffic School has over 1,000 students participating in training.
The school offers a wide range of driver's license classes, including specialized courses for heavy trucks, buses and motorcycles. In addition, ADR courses are offered for the transport of dangerous goods, as well as continuing education for both freight and passenger transport. Gerd Traffic School has two branches, one in Sandnes and one in Stavanger, and offers training in all driver's license classes.
