The Norwegian Asthma and Allergy Association Region West is a voluntary organization that has been active since 1975. The association offers national pollen warning, as well as counseling services for people with asthma, allergies, eczema and COPD. The organization works to improve the quality of life for its members through political engagement and the fight for better conditions for those with hypersensitivity diseases.
Representing 1.5 million Norwegians, the association has 10 regions with local and larger teams spread throughout the country. They organize local activities and information work to raise awareness of asthma and allergies. In addition, they offer a free pollen warning app and work for health-friendly products and more research in the area.
