Storeper EQ kindergarten is located on Kurland in Sarpsborg, close to the light trail, Landeparken, the city center and two elementary schools. The kindergarten has 121 places and is organized into seven departments for children aged 0-3 and 3-6 years. It offers a comprehensive program with three full meals every day and focuses on active learning in nature, with weekly forest walks and a separate forest area called "Lurvelegg" for play and activities.
The kindergarten is approved as health-promoting, with an emphasis on physical activity and mental health. Great emphasis is placed on emotional intelligence (EQ) among the employees, which helps to create safe and appreciative relationships between adults and children. The kindergarten also has 24-hour accident insurance for the children, and is open all year round with long opening hours.
