Bekkhus Shooting is a shooting range that has been active since 1922, and is affiliated with the Norwegian Hunters and Fishermen's Association. The facility is idyllically located by Lake Tunevannet, and has a clubhouse that serves as a gathering point for its members. It offers a varied range of activities that include both shooting activities and courses in reward-based training of hunting and bird dogs.
In addition to shooting, Bekkhus Shooting arranges introductory hunting sessions for deer and elk, which give participants the opportunity to learn more about hunting. There is also open drop-in training for dogs of all breeds, which gives owners the opportunity to train with others. The activities are designed for children, youth and women, and joint activities such as fishing competitions are arranged, which contributes to an inclusive environment for the members.
