DNT Nedre Glomma has its office in Sarpsborg and is part of the Norwegian Tourist Association. The organization offers a variety of services related to outdoor activities, including cabins, hiking routes and activities in the areas of Sarpsborg, Fredrikstad and Hvaler. DNT Nedre Glomma facilitates hiking experiences for all age groups, with a special focus on seniors and youth.
Every Wednesday morning, group hikes are arranged, which give participants the opportunity to experience nature together. They also have a Children's Hiking Group, which invites families to discover hiking with children. For those who want to challenge themselves, climbing weeks are offered in collaboration with DNT Fjellsport, as well as the opportunity to visit Østtorphytta, where there is a climbing trail in the forest. The organization also encourages volunteering, which gives members the opportunity to contribute to the local community.
