Health South-East RHF is a regional health authority responsible for health services in South-East Norway. The authority is part of the Norwegian health system and aims to ensure that the population has access to necessary high-quality health services. Health South-East RHF manages the hospitals in the region, as well as specialist health services and other health services.
The authority works with a number of health policy objectives, including improving patient safety, efficiency and accessibility to health services. Health South-East RHF collaborates with municipalities, private actors and other health authorities to develop and adapt health services to the needs of the population. This includes both emergency medical services and long-term treatment for chronic diseases.
