Alvimhaugen primary school is located in a scenic grove of trees, in the middle of the residential area of Alvim, just 3 kilometers from the center of Sarpsborg. The school has two buildings, built in 1984 and 2001 respectively. This provides a modern learning environment that is adapted to today's educational needs.
The school serves as an important gathering point for the local community, and there is a strong bond between children, youth and adults. Alvimhaugen primary school also offers after-school care (SFO), which is open during holidays, but is closed on planning days and in July. This makes the school a central part of everyday life for many families in the area.
