The Kongerød Kindergarten Learning Workshop has 101 children divided into five departments. The kindergarten is located near a stable, which gives the children the opportunity to visit the animals regularly. The outdoor area is equipped with berry bushes and fruit trees, which the children can enjoy, especially in the autumn season.
The main focus of the kindergarten is on social competence and language development. The children are encouraged to be curious and explore their surroundings, with active participation in planning activities. The vision is to strengthen the children's self-esteem and respect for themselves and others, as well as to teach them the balance between their own needs and consideration for others. The kindergarten emphasizes playful learning, interaction and mastery as the basis for the children's development.
