The Harmony Kindergarten AS is a concept kindergarten that specializes in music and drama. The kindergarten offers five mixed-age departments, where children have the opportunity to play and collaborate across groups. Emphasis is placed on an adapted play environment and educational work that promotes friendship and interaction. The children have the opportunity to get to know each other both indoors and outdoors.
As part of Læringsverkstedet, one of Norway's largest private kindergarten chains, The Harmony Kindergarten AS follows Læringsverkstedet's DoReMi concept. This concept includes activities in music, movement, singing, improvisation and dramatization, and is integrated with the kindergarten's other subject themes. Focus on music as a tool for creativity and language development is central to the educational work.
